Santa's little helper got himself tangled up in the Christmastree while decorating it.
Instead of helping him the other elves just laughed and left him hanging in the tree as a "living Christmas bauble".
Good thing these little fellas are bendy by nature and a pose like this isn't uncomfortable to them.
As long as his fellow elves come and feed him milk and cookies once in a while he's fine with hanging in the tree.
